Photos of the 4th of July Parade, 2008 The following photos were taken at the 2008 4th of July Parade, held on the 5th of July, due to rain on the 4th. It was a beautiful day and everyone was still in a patriotic mood. Our Violet Township Fire Department served as parade marshalls. A contest was again held for the best-decorated bikes and vehicles.
